“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” -Carl Jung

Imagine you’re on your deathbed.

I know it’s morbid but stay with me. Take a deep breath.

What would be your biggest regret in life?

According to the book, The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying — A Life Transformed by the Dearly Departing, by Bronnie Ware, a palliative care nurse, the #1 regret of the dying is “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”

How can you live a life “true to yourself?” What does that mean?

The first step of being true to yourself is knowing who you are. You have a unique set of strengths, values, and goals that, when put together, make up your unique fingerprint in the world. You have a distinct way of making a positive difference for the people around you.

Reflecting on your strengths, values, and goals is an empowering part of the personal development journey. This work connects you with the best of yourself. It shows a path toward the work that’s best suited to you, and most fulfilling for you.

No one else can do it for you. It’s up to you to take what you’ve been born with and what you’ve developed over the years, polish it, and make it shine.
